The good news: school is just around the corner. The bad news: school is just around the corner.

As much as everyone loves getting their education on, kissing summer goodbye and saying hello to a new semester can be a bummer. But there's a light at the end of this algebra-filled tunnel: school is also a great opportunity to reconnect with friends, make new memories, and — if you're in the movie Footloose — dance super intensely for no apparent reason. With that in mind, check out the movies that will definitely get you psyched for school.

Who knows if it was the adorable love connections or the power of Cara Delevingne's eyebrows, but summer hit Paper Towns  put us in a school state of mind big-time. Mainly, because there's no better place to have an adventure than on a campus full of your best friends

The Duff is all about self-acceptance and loving your body the way it is, which is pretty much the best note ever to go back to school on. Bullying is a huge issue on high school and college campuses, and this movie is a great reminder that at the end of the day, we're all beautiful.

Back To The Future

Real talk: this movie makes us want to hop into a time-traveling DeLorean more than it makes us want to go back to school. But still, at the very least it will put you in the mood to roll up to your first day on a hover-board.

You guys, Fame is literally a movie about a bunch of singing and dancing high schoolers. Seriously, what more could you want out of life (other than to participate in a cafeteria flash mob)?

Sure, it deals with some pretty intense topics (abuse and drug use to name a few), but The Perks of Being a Wallflower's  authenticity and honesty is what makes it such a good movie. Sometimes high school can be tough, but this movie is a great reminder that friendship is ultimately what gets you through it in one piece. Note: have tissues at hand.

The Breakfast Club
Five high school students, all different stereotypes, meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other, and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought.

"Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason".fall in love in high school with this movie. The easy A

Mean Girls
Bullying is a big deal but in this movie is also very fun!!
Cady Heron is a hit with The Plastics, the A-list girl clique at her new school, until she makes the mistake of falling for Aaron Samuels, the ex-boyfriend of alpha Plastic Regina George.

Ten Thing I Hate About You
A new kid must find a guy to date the meanest girl in school, the older sister of the girl he has a crush on, who cannot date until her older sister does.

House Of Bunny

And for those who go to university this movie is for you, live in a campus can be hard!!
After Playboy bunny Shelley is kicked out of the playboy mansion, she finds a job as the house mother for a sorority full of socially awkward girls.

Bring It On
A champion high school cheerleading squad discovers its previous captain stole all their best routines from an inner-city school and must scramble to compete at this year's championships.
